PHOTOSHOOT WITH MARIAH BOZEMAN: ACTRESS - NBC'S CHICAGO MED

I literally always say, ‘Great photo sessions don’t just happen, they are planned.’  With a lot of preparation, a great photo session went down this past weekend.  Yep, that’s right!  This past weekend, Client and actress Mariah Bozeman graced me with her presence and we celebrated her latest accomplishment with a photoshoot!  The best part:  Mariah and her mom let me take full and complete control of the shoot.  Complete control!  Concept of hair and make-up, wardrobe, location… e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g.  As a photographer, I normally assist my clients with the concepts and ideas for their shoots.  However, wardrobe, hair, and make-up are usually always chosen by the client.  This time… all me.  Lol!  … and let me tell you, it was so much fun putting this shoot together. I had the chance to style Mariah in really pretty and colorful dresses; a ‘Cookie Lyons’ fur coat (Empire reference), and in a classic t-shirt and jeans.  She looked great in everything!  A lot of prep went into this shoot, and I hope you enjoy the photos.

But first, before you scroll down to see some of the shots from our photo session, let’s talk all things Mariah and why we did this celebratory photo session. 

I introduced Mariah to you back in March of this year when I photographed her for headshots. You can check that post out here: http://www.posebylcg.com/blog/blog/meet-mariah-actress-and-model.  Let me remind you of her accolades…  When I first introduced you to 11-year-old Mariah, at the time, her resume included appearances in Humira, and Oscar Mayer commercials; a print booking for a Lunchables ad campaign; and a movie role in a short drama entitled ‘Lost and Found’ (2018). 

Since then, Mariah has booked and starred in a role in an upcoming movie, "The Woman in the Window" scheduled for release (2020) (playing the role of a daughter (Olivia Fox) to actress Amy Adams and actor Anthony Mackie; Filmed a Chicago based web-series entitled "CHI-nanigans," which has recently been released on YouTube; and most recently (and the reason why we did our celebratory photoshoot) booked a star role in the new season of NBC's "Chicago Med" - a television show which began in 2015 and recently kicked off its 5^th season.  Mariah will play the role of ‘Keisha Jones’ in Episode 5 "Got a Friend in Me" airing October 9th 8/7c. 

Mariah is killing it this year!  She is kicking buttons (as my 4-year-old would say), and taking names!  At such a young age, Mariah is quickly building her IMDb acting resume.  At the rate she’s going, I can foresee her adding the words Emmy and Oscar to her resume.  In the meantime, while she’s acting, dancing on her cheer team, and being an honor roll student; I’ll keep rooting for her and want you to check out her acting skills on NBC’s Chicago Med, Wednesday, October 9th, 8/7c.  Set your calendars people!... and send Mariah some love on her social media.  Let her know you’re watching!
